describe the dock
the nettle, buttercup
and acid blue strip of dragonfly

docks with bronze eaten spots, foxed rims, red veins, sun spot damage

curl up, lose moisture

to see aging as a dock leaf
experience and weathers
rampled, moulded, torn, dissolved,
other lives showing through the holes

colours adrift
clashing reds mutate into green that stutter into yellow
dried out to burnt orange

a healer, soothes the sting
touch and rub
sometimes works
like us
